Fairhaven Centre: March 2017 Newsletter

Hello! February came and went like a whirlwind! I cannot believe we are into March already. Spring is so very close.

With sad regards and best wishes, we said good-bye to Melonie as she has moved on to follow her dreams of becoming a teacher! We will also be saying good-bye to Saudia and Domonique, when Saudia goes on Maternity leave when her new little one arrives. We will also say good-bye to Shane!

We will welcome Tierney back to the center with us. We are also hosting a practicum student, Miranda, from the ECE Certificate program in the starlight room. We are also looking to have Marilyn start in the center as well. So, lots of new and exciting changes that are happening in the weeks to come.

The HiMama is continuously being learned and what the App can do for us and for communicating with all the parents. Please provide any feedback as to how it is working for you and/or what you would like to see more of!

I am out of the office for Professional Development on March 22nd, 29th and 30th. I am also away on March 16th, 17th & 31st for Holidays. Any questions can be directed to Marj in my absence.

Events

March 10th: No School day-PD. An excursion in the works for the School Aged children and the Kindergarteners for this day. We will combine with the Holliston location.

March 17: St. Patrick’s Day- Dress in green!

March 24th: No School – Parent Teacher interviews.

Please remember to dress your children appropriately for our ever-changing weather patterns!
